”N.Y.ディスコ”の偉大な歌姫”Fonda Rae”、79年に華々しくデビュ－を飾ります。ファンカラティ－ナの巨匠”August Darnell”とパ－カション奏者”Don Armando”が「Dr. Buzzard's Original Savannah Band」を脱退後に結成した「Don Armando's Second Avenue Rhumba Band」”Fonda Rae”はそのリ－ドボ－カルに抜擢されます。シングル「Deputy Of Love」は”全米ダンスチャ－ト・第1位”に輝き、その卓越した歌唱力が知れ渡ります。

その後は、N.Y.の偉大なプロデュ－サ－”Patrick Adams”が作ったグル－プ「Rainbow Brown」でリ－ドボ－カルとして、また「Kid Creole and the Coconuts」で活躍

82年にシングル「Over Like a Fat Rat」でソロデビュ－、”全米ダンスチャ－ト・22位”と「N.Y.ディスコの名曲」として世界中でプレイされ大ヒット。83年「Heobah（全米ダンスチャ－ト・19位)」、96年「Living in Ecstasy（全米ダンスチャ－ト・19位)」とヒット曲もリリ－ス、現在も活躍しています
