本日は姉妹3人組コ－ラス・グル－プ「The Emotions」の78年作

”Al McKay”と ”Maurice White”作曲、「Earth Wind & Fire」がバックアップしたダンスチュ－ンの傑作です

私たち”日本の職業プロ・ディスコDJ”に配布された、貴重な”非売品日本盤 Promo 12inch”の「Special Disco Version」でお聴き下さい

”Jeanette”、”Wanda”、”Sheila”の「Hutchinson・3姉妹」が62年、シカゴで結成した3人組女性コ－ラス・グル－プ「The Emotions」、デビュ－は69年、”Isaac Hayes”と”David Porter”にプロデュ－スされメンフィスの名門「Stax」からアルバム「So I Can Love You」でデビュ－します

その後は、69年「So I Can Love You」（全米R&B・3位）、71年「Show Me How」（全米R&B・13位）、72年「My Honey and Me」（全米R&B・18位）とコンスタントにヒット曲を連発して軌道に乗ります

77年以降は「EW&F」の”モ－リスホワイト”が設立した「Kalimba Production」に移籍、「I Don't Wanna Lose Your Love（全米ダンス4位)」を皮切りに、「Best of My Love」は全米第1位を5週連続マ－ク、アルバム「Flowers」は”RIAA認定・ゴ－ルド”、「Rejoice」は”プラチナム・獲得”とセ－ルス面でも大ヒットを記録します。アルバムは85年までに11枚をリリ－ス、コ－ラスワ－クの巧みさで記憶に残る素晴らしい女性コ－ラスグル－プです。

”全米R&Bチャ－ト・第6位”にランクインした軽快なダンスチュ－ンです。”Al McKay”と ”Maurice White”作曲、「Earth Wind & Fire」がバック演奏を行い、鉄壁のサポ－トです

これだけの人気曲ながら12inchカットは「非売品日本盤 Promo 12inch」でした。ダンスホ－ルを意識して高音圧、ワイドレンジな「Special Disco Version」としてプロユ－スにアレンジされています
