ニュ－ヨ－クのブルックリンで68年に結成したファンクバンド「Brass Construction」、メンバ－はProducerで鍵盤奏者とリ－ドヴァ－カルの”Randy Muller”が中心になり”Larry Payton (Dr)”,”Wayne Parris(B)”,”Morris Price(Tr)”,”Joe Arthur(G)”,”Sandy Billups(Per)”,”Michael Grudge(Sax)”,”Jesse Ward(Sax)”,”Wade Williamston(B)”の大編成大型FUNKグル－プ




70年、シングル「Two Timin' Lady」にてマイナ－デビュ－、75年、メジャ－デビュ－のシングル「Movin'」とアルバム「Brass Construction」は”全米R&Bチャ－ト・第1位”と”RIAA・プラチナム認定”を獲得、人気が大ブレ－クします

”全米R&Bチャ－ト・23位”にランクイン、"Randy Muller"が作曲の82年当時、最先端な音を聴かせてくれた硬質でかっこいいFUNKナンバ－です




US盤 12inchはB面の「Another　Version」の出来が素晴らしいです。ダンスフロア－対応にアルバム「5分18秒」から「5分50秒」に、イントロから全く異なるアレンジがされた「Special Long Version」として、プロユ－スに仕上がっています
