54年、ワシントンDC生まれの男性シンガ－、高校時代から「Spectrum Ltd」というバンドを結成しDCで活躍


高校卒業後、プロデュ－サ－”Willie Lester”と”Ronnie Brown”に巡り会い、78年、DCの「Mainline Records」より、アルバム「Sweetest Piece Of The Pie」でデビュ－、アルバムには”Al Johnson”も参加、ソウルフルな名盤として人気を獲得します




その後、NYの名門ディスコレ－ベル「Prelude label」に移籍、”Willie Lester”と”Ronnie Brown”プロデュ－スで80年にアルバム「You Got What It Takes」をリリ－ス、シングル「Check Out The Groove」が全英チャ－トでTop10に入り大ヒットします




アルバムは翌81年に「The Main Attraction」をリリ－ス、ヴァラエティーに富んだ選曲と「Prelude」最高のシンガーと評されるエモーショナルな歌唱力で魅了しました

世界で活躍する大阪の重鎮バトルDJ「Dee Jay Batsu」くんが、実家の倉庫から掘り起こしてくれました
