本日は”Walter Murphy”が仕掛けた、マイアミ産ディスコプロジェクト「Uncle Louie」

Jazz、Funk界の大物を招き、録音された79年のご機嫌なPARTY FUNKです

貴重な”US盤 12inch”の「Special Long Remix」でお楽しみ下さい

”Walter Murphy”と”Eugene Pistilli”の2人による、ディスコプロジェクト「Uncle Louie」

キ－ボ－ド奏者の”Walter Murphy”は76年、ベートーヴェンの運命ディスコカバ－「運命76」で”全米チャ－ト・No.1”を獲得、映画「Saturday Night Fever」でも使用された「Walter Murphy & The Big Apple Band」のリ－ダ－として活躍

”Eugene Pistilli”は、60年代から「Chips & Company」「Cashman, Pistilli & West」「Buchanan Brothers」などのグル－プで作曲家として活動していたベテラン

マイアミのディスコ・レ－ベルである「T.K. Records」の子会社「Marlin」から、79年にアルバムを1枚だけリリ－スしました

「運命76」で”全米チャ－ト・No.1”を獲得した”Walter Murphy”が仕掛けた、マイアミ産ディスコプロジェクト「Uncle Louie」のデビュ－曲。

バックに「Joe Pass Quartetde」の”Jim Hughart(B)”、”Wah Wah" Watson（G)”、”Don Menza(Sax)”、”Ed Greene（Drs)” とJazz、Funk界の大物を招き、レコ－ディングされました

「US盤 12inch」は2種類あり、こちらはファ－ストプレスの「Tmクレジット盤」です。NYのDJ、”Steve Thompson”がRemixを担当、LPアルバム「3分52秒」から「6分56秒」と、大幅にブレ－クを強化したプロユ－スな「Special Long Remix」です。B面もLPとはアレンジが異なります

Wah Wah" Watsonのギタ－と手拍子が小気味よいナイスダンストラックです
