本日は「The Crusaders」と「EW&F」のサウンド要の2人がタッグを組みました

上品で華麗な爽やかなJazz Funkです

貴重な非売品 US盤 Promo 12inchの「Special Disco Version」でお聴き下さい

39年、テキサス州ヒュ－ストンで生まれたトロンボーン奏者の第一人者”Wayne Henderson”、61年に結成した「The Jazz Crusaders」のオリジナルメンバ－として「The Crusaders」に改名後、74年の「Scratch」まで在籍、21作のアルバムで活躍

グル－プと移行して68年と69年に「The Freedom Sounds featuring Wayne Henderson」の2枚のアルバムをリリ－ス、75年「The Crusaders」を脱退し「At Home Production」を立ち上げ”プロデュ－ス業”に従事します

「At Home Production」は、”Mizell Brothers”の「Sky High Production」に並ぶ。「メロウ&グルーヴィー製造工場」として、”Pleasure”、”Ronnie Laws”、”Caldera”、”Gabor Szabo”、”Side Effec”など・・・・プロデュ－スして、名盤を送り出しました。ソロとしては77年、「At Big Daddies」を皮切りに、”Roy ayers”との共同アルバムを含み、93年まで7枚の素晴らしい作品をリリ－スします。2014年急遽、享年74歳でした

「The Crusaders」のオリジナルメンバ－で、「Sky High Production」に並ぶメロウ&グルーヴィー製造工場「At Home Production」の主催者として「Pleasure」や「Side Effect」を手掛けたトロンボ－ン奏者”Wayne Henderson”の79年作

バックには「EW&F」の”Roland Bautista (G)”、”Bobby Lyle (Key)”と「Five Special」の”Ron Banks”がリ－ドヴァ－カルで唄う爽快で素敵なダンスチュ－ンです

12インチは正式にリリ－スされずに関係者に配布された「非売品 US盤 Promo 12inch」だけでした、ダンスフロア－を意識して高音圧・ワイドレンジな「Special Disco Version」としてプロユ－スにアレンジされています

爽やかでダンサブルな名曲です
