Unknown until this year when a sold for the first time on ebay in June for ($2025)

Not surprising as its absolutely banging on both sides. Big love to Brian Sears who hooked up With Michael Gamble on this.

Star city jam 1979y first record I was 19

In 1981 the  trio akira freeze was formed  Michael Gamble  the founder of the group  was heavily influenced  by a collective of different styles world wide 

bootsy collins ,parliament funkadelic, bob marley chic,kraftwerk,the Eurythmics  jimmie hendrix ,the eagles  ,led zeppelin n yes even hank Williams sr..country music..so with all this he form an eclectic sound of strong bass lines melodic piano n heavly galactic  strings thus

this being the foundation  for thier style  in which he masterfully  created and continue to improve  till this day, for  years later.. Coming  from the deep  ,deep south of central Florida was a serious  challenge for a black band, with No backing  ,no major outlets   nothing ,but the will and hope and thriving desire to boldly go where no one  has gone before

it took ,40 yrs.but here we are standing strong .and invincible..the immortal  akira freeze !! our single record recorded in 1984 was way ahead  of its time,

38yrs ahead  of its time thanks to Brian  Sears  of Athens of the north records it was reissued,  and  started a feeding frenzy for the original copy by collectors  who have  paid as much as $2025.

for an original copy only 100 were pressed now there is a burning desire and  interest for this un heard of style of music, that really  grabs you ,deep down inside .so akira freeze as reform and are recording and releasing songs from thier 1980s archives..prepare your selves to taken away from all your worries,  as you take a galactic ride into the unknown with the amazing AKIRA FREEZE ..

the name akira is Japanese  because of my love for ninjitsu n the Samaria
